Bioentrepreneurship

I am also a part-time project manager at the Unit for Bioentrepreneurship (UBE) at Karolinska Institutet, working with courses and seminars within the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.

I am the course assistant for the excellent Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship course "From Science to Business - Concepts in Biotechnology":

Together with experts and top managers from industry and academia, “From Science to Business – Concepts in Biotechnology” is designed to educate tomorrow’s entrepreneurs on how to create and run a business within the area of biotechnology.

The course (7,5 credits) is offered by the Unit for Bioentrepreneurship (UBE) at KI and together with students from SSES member institutions (KI, KTH, SSE, and Konstfack) you are introduced to core concepts as the course explores the increasingly interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology. Students will learn a conceptual framework of this area through presentations on financing, strategy, intellectual property, human resources and innovation.

Course Directors:
Associate Professor Carl Johan Sundberg, Director of UBE, KI
Jesper Ericsson (jesper.ericsson@ki.se, +46739805686), KI

The course will start on the 11th of March, further information about the content of the course can be found on SSES the webpage (note that the schedule and some other details are not updated from previous course yet):

If you have an interest in this course as a student or as a guest lecturer, please do not hesitate to contact me or Dr Sundberg.

I am also the course assistant for the national entrepreneurship course "Commercialising Science - Innovation and Entrepreneurship Theory".
