Animal Model

Our research is mainly carried out in a well defined animal model of aging in rats. Some of our research is also done on mice. The animal pages contain data on our animal model including how we define aged animals, stage them depending on symptomatic behavioural deficiencies and examine them in an array of behavioural tests.

The appendix is a paper on our animal model first published in Esbjörn Bergmans PhD dissertation 1999.
It will be updated continuously as new cohorts are evaluated.
